Boredom...

well i am feeling rather bored today as it is a raher wet n miserable sort of day. I would like to do something productive but do not know what! Any ideas?
I received a leter from Queens today which confused me but also excited me as it mademe wnt to go to uni now n be part of it but I cant have it both ways and I do still really want to do TOM as well- this inbetweeny period I feel I am being lazy with the knowledge that next year Ill be working hard but I do not like hving nothing to do I am even bored with reading!! hmm well I am going to pray now and ask God what he would like me to do today as I am quite sure that being lazy is not his plan for me!

I have had a rather lazy day today- I finished reading my book- The other Boelyn Girl. It was very good I couldnt put it down but at the end it was very side. I forgot what happened to Anne Boelyn- it is set in the times of Henry VIII and I have decided that I definitly would not like to have been alive at that time epecially as a woman!! I would have had no status apart from that of my family or husband and it was most likely my family would have arragned for me to marry when I would be about 13. So at the minute I am definitly valuing my indepedence it is amazing how far we have come. The dresses did sound fun though and the balls but I do not think it would have been worth the price.

On a different not entirely I was thinking of arranging a cinema trip for Sat night to see Batman begins at Movieland as its cheaper- it'll probably be on at 730 but we could maybe get our tea b4hand?

Well I have to go babysit again- from 4-8 itll be my first proper job as au pair how exciting! Also Im having a carboot sale on Sat morning to race funds for TOM team so if you have any things that I could see let me know and I would be very grateful!

I was babysitting today from 3-6 was quite fun I played lots of games and got tired out lol but luckily it was only one child as the other one was having a nap. I will be doing alot of babysitting as I am being an au pair in from now til end of the summer or any suggestions of games or ways to keep the kids amused would be very helpful! There is a girl who is 5 and a boy who is 10 hard work!

well i did not just get a new top a got a new skirt as well and a little jacket and new shoes!! i never really wear skirts so was quite a new thing to be wearing it but now a slightly regret it lol ill tell you why now- my commissioning service last night was lots of good fun but when I went up to the front we all had to introduce ourselves and this was when disaster struck. Gillian Best got us all to line up at the front and into her mic we all had to say where we came from and what team we would be doing- that went fine until Gillian's mic got caught under my skirt and my skirt started to lift up! I tried to untangle it but couldnt so then just couldnt stop laughing-same with every1 else but evenutally someone untangled it for me- was very embarrassing but also very funny!! As I said to me fellow team members- first funny incidient this year! Although hopefully it doesnt indicate whats to come- i.e. more embarrassing moment for me but Im sure it will! It was a good night though I lost my voice and its still sore today :( I think I may have caught something as my head is all sore and Im feeling very tired- had to go home early from impact last night which was disapointing.

I found out that I officially start on the 31st August and I move into the methodist chapal place at Queens where I do training for a month with the rest of TOM people. Then in October I move into the TOM flat with the other travelling team girls- Rozy, Helen and Leanne and Colin who is doing an internship with Whiteabbey. So is all rather exciting although also rather scary but at the minute I am focusing on Psalm 5 v 8 "Let your will be done. Make your way plain for me to follow" I want God's will for my life and at the minute I'm asking him to make his will clear even in the everyday things.

lol this is quite exciting for the first time ever i fel i am blogging two days in a row! though i was quite surprised to find that stephen had already read yesterdays one- go him! I went to see mr and mrs smith last nitght and loved it I wud def recommend it!!do go n see it! was gd crack as well lots of different ppl went which was kul. well Im about to go shopping to get a new top for my commissioning service tonight- any excuse to get new clothes! bye

hey well i m at home with not very much today in fact the word bored could be used to decribe how Im feeling so just as I was about to go to www.bored.com (which really is a gd siteespecially the lemonade game- very addictive!) I thought why not blog!
My exams finished yesterday and my teacher was right when she said youll be nat a loss as to what to do with your time!I have read a book this morning but feel Ill be too greedy if I read another one! There is also my room to tackle but on my first day of freedom I do not want to start tidying my room- it reall is very messy Im going to try and teach myself to be tidy for TOM next year- also how to cook meals, work out how to use the washng machine and iron properly- I can however change a plug so in a way I am one step there to being self suficient!

I am looking forward to doing TOM team- I was at lemongrass last night and was thinking I will be living across the rd from here next year! it is going to be very strange living with people other than my family in a way its kinda like Big Brother although at the same time not at all- I will be in a house with three people I do not know particularly well- living with them and being with them practically every day- I wonder what my role will be? Any thoughts anyone who is reading this?Also any suggestions as to productive things I can do with my spare time? I would like to make thank- you cards for all the people who have given me money for TOM but dont think Im particularl good at making things like that- although I do art (well did art) I am not good with nice neat presentable things- for my art I always did big and old things- for my final piece this year I did four sheets of A1 in charchol of a photo of me and my mum when I am just born- working sooo big is very me and I loved doing it!

todays sermon in church was amazing!!! I had jut been speaking to ally about church n how we loved the ppl just not so much the services. and i otally agreed with what Ken was saying about how we shouold praise God for the work he is doing through us and what he was asying was really exciting but then it was follwoed with a song that i found hard to praise God with. I have to work on it but I find it so hard to worship God with praise with the organ and songs in our church- I want to dance and sing my heart out to priase him sometimes but feel restricted.
