O dear i have not blogged in a gd wee while - i was so gd for a while! Well I shall tell u about shankill- we went there last weekend! We were doing a kids club on the fri and sat night after which we held a youth event. I loved the kids clubs as the kids were soo enthustiatic- we only got about 8-10 but it didnt seem to matter! They were all obsessed by the parachute n loved singing and doing the creative prayers- they all went silent when they were writing the prayers- was v kul! The youth event was also kul- we decided to hold the first night as a more drop- in type night with games set up like connect four and kareoke etc. They kept getting us to sing and my voice was very hoarse by the next night! We decided for the 2nd night we were do it as more of a youth group- with more organised games like cat and mouse and the balloon bursting one. We had done a leaflet drop in the area of over 1000 leaflets- very tiring but was totally worth it- there were two guys who came by themselves on the sat night coz they had got a leaflet in their door n it said on it free refreshments- they were in first year and loved the games and got really into it! Two kids who had come to out kids club came to the church on sunday- waiting outside to see us- they came inside n they said they had never been inside a church b4 and they r now considering going to sunday school which is so class!!!

The SUnday service was certainly gd experience- a few technical stuff went wrong for example the words to IN christ alone- the second half of the song completely disappeared off the power point and so rozy and leanne were left at the front singing by themselves- and they cudnt remember all the words and the organist stoped playing- v embarrassing!- but the ppl said they really enjoyed the service so it was k! we were v tired after that weekend but was nice as we all went out for lunch after in the old mill- i got us lost on the way though! oops!

Next weekend we are going to wicklow so u must ll pray lots as i am giving the sermon on the sunday- aha ahah aha!!! but it is not too bad as there is only 10 in the congregation so it will be gd practice and it doesnt really matter if its terrible as im only embarraasing myelf infront of ten rather than 300! The service is based on Jesus and peter walking on water so im getting points for the book "If u want to walk on water u have to get out of the boat!" at the min im writing it as i wud write essays- mking points while reading through the book n then im goin condense it down to like a few mainpoints n see wot fits- scary stuff though!

i am also v excited about oming to Knock- Alister is so excited about it that its contagious. Itll be strange coming to my own church- its supposed to be the hardest!

WEll we really have alot to do so pray lots that r planning is productive and that we get it all done!- on monday we are writing the vision out- each line though as to be done creatively and diff- its for the prauyer room at autumn soul- so u all better go to it and admire!!

hello i am writing here from corrymela- the sea is v beautiful here. Helen is behind me as i type this she says " hello there u big foxy hens. Sharing a room with Hannah has been my worst experience so far only joking lol there is a BIG swan made of paper swinging from the roof here. Adam should be a model hes so sexy!!" Rozy says " Hannah smells lol i porobaly do as i was dancin n bein all usy playing games all night Leanne says "Hellooo wots the crack (in a country accent!, shes from armagh!) I had to go to hosptial today as i got really bad pain in my stomach was quite scary but the pain went away n Im grand now- i just had to take some antibiotics- but nmow im getting out of doing anything as i can use the excuse thAt i was in hosptical today"! but im totally ok now i just worried everyone for a wee while!
Tnoight was gd crack as we had to do a PARTY AS emyc IS 30 years old so we played t=lots of fun party games like pass the parcel and i held a germans hand v excting! There are some volunteers at corrymela who are here for the year and we have made friends with some of them sxo i have some fellow card buddies which is kul. also beattie was up here tnoight which was kul to see her. i am being a grumpy moany hannah lol but only to adam on the phone i was moaning lots but im bein more hyper here .
well i am rather tired and think we may be watchin a dvd now so i better go- stephen keeps winning someone has to beat him hes gettin far too big headed lol!
