hello! we are having a few recovery days after our Lisburn mission which is lovely to be able to lie in n chill though today i am feelin a bit sicky which aint so gd!

I did enjoy our Lisburn mission- a had some gd wee chats with ppl and the pl from the church were lovely n encouraging! We did a 24/2 prayer room which worked really well- we had been panickin as it hadnt been annoucned or anythin n ppl only had a week 2 sign up but all the slots were covered which was class and tey may be thinkin bout havin a permanent prayer room! i hope Knock has a permanent prayer room with the new building n it wud be class to do 24 hours of prayer while a kul interactive prayer room set up i think it wud blow ppl away! the prayer room set up at DYCW is amazing! when u enter it u just feel a sense of peace and u can almost feel the prayers that have went on in it! i think its open for use while the office is open 9-5 so pop in and check it out n while ur at it visit me!! Im in the flat all week as i dont go to kilkenny till next tuesday so it'll be kul to have some chill time! xo

well so far the 3 devotions a day is going well- I also asked God wot book in the bible I should study as I got the message remix for christmas from leanne and was gettin all excited about reading my bible again- n God led me to Galations which is actually a very interesting wee book! I Have just read the first few chapters n made some notes on them but so far Paul has been given his calling on ministering to the non-Jews and it has been confirmed by the other leaders like Peter that this is indeed from God and they all shook hands on it and it was agreed that Paul n Barnabus wud minister to the non-Jews while Peter etc wud continue to minister to the Jews but then Peter was bad as he had been m8's with some non Jews eatin at their house etc but then when the Jewish leaders who he used to be mates with came he backed away from the non-Jews coz he didnt want to be seen with them so Paul tells Peter off infront of every1 n gives an amazin talk bout how the Jews had got it wrong tryin to please God with their rules and that he Paul wanted to be God's man instead of being a law man! very powerful stuff and I like how the message remix puts it!

Well today we have been planning for Lisburn and it has been going well at the min we r down in the office photocopying treasure chest templates, superhero's and colouring in sheets! We are def going to be v busy the next 10 days but as long as we get to see Lost on Wed we're happy! I am v excited about the last episode though will be not so gd when the series ends as ill have to wait til Sept for the nxt! but then i guess there's desperate housewives n the OC but there's no way Ill be able to see both regularly n at the min Im not too fussed!

Pray for my friend Heather in England for Wed 11th as that's when her exams start n she asked me to pray for her!

1st blog this year!

well i am eing bullied by Stephe n adam into blogging- mostly by stephen though but he's gotadam on my case too- my arguement has been that I am home so everyone knows how i am n wot ive been up to although realy its coz ive bn too lazy!

well i am loving being off but unfortunatly I have to go back tomorrow lol! But it will b good to see my fellow team mates again though i think the break will have done us all good!We are going to Lisburn Seymour Street church from fri for 10 days- pray for us as we wil be plannin it all in the next few days! I did v well for myself this christmas gettin a v cool Ipod nano n with that and a book in my hand i can be extremely anti social! but it will be kul for the times when i need my wn space as with that n a book i cud be in my own word completly! I also gt disney tunes for the violin which I love playin along too as a cd comes with it so ur playin wit a full orchesra- its kul as its gettin me to practice my violin lots n Im havin fun with it!

I have decided my new years resolution is to have some quiet times just me and God every day- not jst when im doing somethin else like dishes but set aside time! I got two devotion books for christmas which r to be done every day so i am startin the new year on doin 3 devotions a day- i hope ill keep it up and do them properly! My faveourite one is a max lucado one which gets u t write things in it- asks u questions after the devotions n has lines for to write ur thoughts which is kul as it makes me think bout it not just read it n forget bout it!

oo and other exicitng news my cousin who is 19 has got engadegd to his gf who is 17-scandel! my mum took the cal n my dad overheard te words engadgment n thouht that adam n i had got enadeged which I found v funny!!the idea wud never occur to me bout gettin engadged when Im 18- i picture myself gettin engadged when im bout 23ish so def A good few years yet!-
